Birth After Cesarean
Join others who have experienced a cesarean birth and who wish to learn ways to increase the possibility of giving birth vaginally. This class is a labor and birth "refresher" with a specific VBAC focus.
What you will learn
We will explore the reasons for and feelings about your previous birth so that you can more easily move towards a successful trial of labor and VBAC. Discussion and practice will include the VBAC "hump," stages of labor, comfort measures, communication skills, technology, preparing siblings for "the look of early labor" and more.
Here's your opportunity to practice what you've forgotten, remember what you loved, and to discover changes you might wish to make toward a different birth experience this time around.
Please note: Due to the intimate nature of childbirth classes, children are not permitted to attend. Onsite childcare is available for an additional fee, click on the link for more details and to register.
