Are you a pregnant or new mama? Thinking about becoming pregnant or maybe a not-so-new mama?
Chances are you have questions about your core and pelvic floor muscles:
What You Will Learn
Broadly talk about the anatomy of the core and pelvic floor muscles and learn yoga postures and exercises to tone and rehabilitate these crucially important parts of the body.
We will also discuss topics such as diastasis recti (abdominal separation), pre/post-natal incontinence, and pelvic pain.
Whether you're just curious about how to promote core and pelvic floor health, or you have specific issues you'd like to address, this workshop will teach you how to safely and effectively strengthen the core and pelvic floor. Workshop is primarily lecture-based, with ample time for individual questions and some gentle demonstrations/practice of key postures. All yoga postures are optional, making this appropriate for newly postpartum mamas, as well as pregnant and experienced mamas!

This class is designed with discussion, questions, and demos of postures and exercises. It's great for post-partum and pregnant mamas. Due to the personal nature of the subject matter, this workshop is for women only. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend, as well! No yoga experience necessary.
