This full-day workshop offers tactics and inspiration to help you become a thriving business owner! From bringing clients in your virtual door to closing the deal and getting referrals on down the line, we’ll share the secrets of thriving as a birth worker. Networking, building a website, setting fees, acing the interview and developing a rock-solid contract are all on the docket. A fun day of learning and growing under the guidance of Jessica English, an experienced and successful business owner!
Jessica English is the owner of Birth Kalamazoo, Michigan's first and largest doula agency. She started her practice 11 years ago as a Bradley Method instructor, and today she is a Lamaze certified educator, certified birth doula, DONA-approved birth doula trainer, and postpartum doula. Before becoming a full-time birth worker, she spent more than a decade in marketing, public relations and journalism. She enjoys marketing to new parents and loves inspiring other birth workers to enjoy that aspect of our work too!

Minimum 10 participants, Maximum 20. Blossom reserves the right to cancel workshop if minimum is not met. In such case, a full refund will be issued to each participant.
Blossom is located in a busy shopping district with many restaurants nearby, however, breaks will be short. Please plan accordingly.
Quiet babes-in-arms, 6 months and younger are encouraged to stay with their moms attending this workshop. Please discuss this with the instructor prior to registering.
