Katie first discovered yoga in 2001, and quickly became fascinated with the positive mental and physical effects that came from this dynamic breath and movement practice. Since then, she has immersed herself in the study of various styles of yoga and energy work, and is certified in Hatha, Pre & Postnatal, Yin, and Kundalini Yoga as well as Reiki and Sound Healing.
Katie loves being a part of the Blossom community, and supporting women through the transformative experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood. She is honored to be able to offer the Kundalini Yoga for Fertility Series, and share the wealth of specific practices, and meditations for enhancing fertility that come from this ancient lineage of yoga.
Her weekly prenatal classes emphasize fluid movement connected to breath, while safely strengthening and toning the lower body and pelvic floor, opening the chest and shoulders, and working with the hips. As a trained Doula she offers up practice with laboring positions, as well as work with mantra and meditation to prepare for birth, labor and beyond. Most importantly, these classes are a time to connect and move with your baby, breathe deeply and savor this unique and powerful time of life.
