Lacey Ramirez 
Yoga Instructor and Doula 

Lacey Ramirez (RYT-500, RPYT, MSc.) is a prenatal yoga teacher, maternal health researcher, and birth/postpartum doula based in Redwood City, California. She began her teaching journey in 2017 when she spent the summer working as an intern at a yoga studio in Yangon, Myanmar after graduating with her Master’s in Global Health from Harvard School of Public Health.

Lacey has over 1,000 hours of experience teaching yoga both in Myanmar and in the greater Boston area, where she completed prenatal yoga teacher training with Rooted Boston during her first pregnancy. In addition to advanced prenatal yoga trainings, Lacey has completed advanced trainings in restorative yoga, yin yoga, and trauma-informed yoga and birthwork. 

Yoga has served as a source of grounding and connecting her body during the many physical and emotional changes of pregnancy and parenthood. Through her teaching, Lacey seeks to make these benefits of yoga accessible and inclusive.
