Mia Hall
Yoga Instructor
Mia Hall began practicing yoga in 2007, during her senior year in college. It didn't take long for the practice to become an essential part of her life, both for the effects it had on her physical body and her mental and emotional well-being. Originally trained in the YogaWorks method with her teacher Natasha Rizopoulos, Mia's teaching style emphasizes proper alignment, deep connection with the breath, and, above all, enjoying a safe and fulfilling practice, regardless of strength or flexibility. Mia completed Jane Austin's level one prenatal yoga teacher training in 2013, expecting to learn the fundamentals of prenatal yoga as she approached her own path towards motherhood. Instead, she found new inspiration in this incredibly powerful, and empowering, style of yoga designed specifically for mamas-to-be. In her prenatal classes, Mia combines her years of experience teaching vinyasa and restorative yoga with the specific aims of opening the hips and pelvis, building connection between mama and baby, and turning inwards to find the strength for pregnancy and birth that are so essential to prenatal yoga. She is thrilled to share this incredible practice with students of all levels and abilities.
In addition to being a yoga teacher, Mia is a private chef and caterer, and you can often find her scouring the abundant local farmers markets. She is always happy to chat about food and cooking before or after class!
