Navigating Your Birth: Secrets from a Doula
6-week Online Complete Childbirth Prep Series
Thursday evenings, from 7pm-8:30pm

Picture
Imagine a birth experience where you feel informed, supported, and confident. Your desires are taken seriously, you know the right questions to ask, and you feel no fear bringing your child into this world. This is a complete Childbirth Prep Series that will equip you with the information and tools you (and your partner!) need to make this a reality. Whether you are desiring an unmedicated birth, are stoked for the epidural, or aren’t really sure yet!

Join a group of expecting parents as we dive into everything you might experience during your time at the hospital. We’ll discuss how to prepare for birth, what to expect at each stage, all of your choices in labor, advocacy, and so much more. With this knowledge you will feel confident in your labor and as a new parent.

What you will learn

This class is taught by experienced birth and postpartum doula, and childbirth educator Cameron Seeberger. Having been to many births before, Cameron offers a unique insight into what birth is really like, and how to successfully navigate birthing in a hospital setting. But you won’t just hear from a doula– this class includes interviews with real mothers, all of whom had very different birth experiences and share their stories and advice.

We’ll discuss all of the choices you have with epidurals, inductions, and other medical interventions without any shame or judgment. You will also learn the evidence-based information you need to know to make the best decisions for your birth. Plus, you will connect with other expecting parents, learn lessons from a doula, and hear real stories from real women.

Blossom understands the importance of creating a community of support and camaraderie for the transition into parenthood. A small class size fosters long-lasting connections among parents-to-be. In addition, Blossom hosts many opportunities for new families to return with their babies to continue the connections made in their birthing class and make even more! (See Parent-Baby Groups). Experienced Blossom Moms tell us the Community at Blossom is what sets us apart from other birth classes in the area.
