What You Will LearnIn this workshop, we will learn about the anatomy of the core and pelvic floor muscles, and how to safely tone and strengthen them during pregnancy and post-partum. We will also discuss diastasis recti (abdominal separation), incontinence, and pelvic pain.
Whether you're just curious about how to promote core and pelvic floor health, or you have specific issues you'd like to address, this workshop is for you. Workshop will include equal parts lecture, discussion, and gentle practice incorporating core and pelvic floor toning postures. Physical practice is optional and can be modified for newly post-partum students, making this workshop appropriate for all stages of pregnancy and motherhood. |
Class & Registration InformationLoading workshop information... This class is designed with discussion, questions, and demos of postures and exercises. It's great for post-partum and pregnant mamas. Due to the personal nature of the subject matter, this workshop is for women only. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend, as well! No yoga experience necessary.
