Pelvic Floor Workshops

Pelvic floor exercises are important for women at all stages of life.
Pregnancy and birth (both vaginal and caesarean) can put additional  stress on and damage the pelvic floor

Are you a pregnant or new mama? Thinking about becoming pregnant or maybe a not-so-new mama? Now is an important time to pay attention to those muscles downtown.

Chances are you have questions about your core and pelvic floor muscles:
  • What are they?
  • How can I strengthen them while pregnant?
  • How can I exercise them safely while preparing to give birth or recovering from birth?
  • How can I reestablish that connection to my belly and "down there" in the post-partum period?
  • What is diastasis recti (abdominal separation) and how can I avoid/repair it?

Your pelvic floor is going to play a role in your overall health for the rest of your life. It’s never too early or late to learn about and strengthen it!

Perinatal Pelvic Floor Health
Workshop

 Online

with Jenny Putt

Are you pregnant, trying to conceive or within 1 year postpartum?
This workshop is for you and it’s one you don’t want to miss!
Internationally, pelvic floor physical therapy is part of standard perinatal care but in America, many don’t even know it exists and are suffering needlessly because of it.

In this workshop, Jenny Putt PT (a pelvic floor physical therapist), gives an overview of what the pelvic floor is, how it works and how to improve the function of your pelvic floor no matter where you are at in the process of having a kid.

Proper strengthening and stabilizing of the pelvic floor helps to create the correct foundation of each movement in the body.  Whether you experience any of the conditions (or are just plain curious about this region of the body) this workshop is for you!
