A long-distance runner, Veronica fell for yoga in 2004 when, pregnant with her first child, intense aerobic activity became challenging. She found great comfort in the power of asana and pranayama and continued to deepen her practice postnatally. In 2012 she completed a 200-hour teacher training and also became certified as a prenatal yoga instructor; Veronica will be completing her 500-hour training in 2015. Aiming to help students find strength and tranquility through the self-study of yoga, Veronica draws on an eclectic mix of methods in her teaching. But she is ultimately concerned with the energetic effects of poses and how to harness that energy to create desired physical and mental states.
