Wildflower Fertility Yoga Series

Picture
Weekly series of six 90min classes

Having faced challenges in her own fertility journey, Nora feels honored to support couples through Fertility Yoga, Workshops and Coaching. She trained with the founder of Yoga for Fertility, Lynn Jensen. who based her teachings on over 25 years of personal yoga study and practice, and her own experiences with fertility challenges.  Yoga for Fertility uses yoga therapeutically to address women’s health issues, through the physical, emotional and spiritual healing power of yoga. In a recent Harvard-based study, women participating in a yoga and relaxation program increased their chances of pregnancy significantly.

The Wildflower Yoga for Fertility series uses restorative yoga postures, breathing and pelvic floor exercises to enhance the flow of energy and circulation through the body, and to balance hormone levels and stimulate the reproductive system.

Nourishing mindfulness, self-care tools and supportive community will help you de-stress and reconnect with your joy and life force. Deep breath-work and relaxation helps the body re-vitalize and let go of unwanted worry and anxiety. For women battling the mental stress of fertility struggles and the physical stress of infertility treatments, Yoga for Fertility provides lasting comfort for body and mind.

Over the course of six weeks you will increase your knowledge about the natural female cycle and the fertility process. We will share tips and tricks about tracking the monthly cycle and increase chances of conceiving. But most importantly this class will provide a safe space to connect with other women in similar situations, share personal experience and wisdom and to find vital support in laughter and compassion, and build friendships that go beyond our weekly meetings.

Yoga for Fertility can:
  • Create a positive self-image and positive thinking and help reduce stress and anxiety
  • Increase the blood- and energy-flow to the reproductive organs and increase your chances of conceiving
  • Restore your sense of control by showing you simple ways to take charge of your reproductive health
  • Renew your sense of sexuality and feminine wholeness and increase intimacy with your partner

This 6 week series of restorative yoga, relaxation and female support will run Mondays 7.30 pm for 90 minutes and is open to women currently trying to balance their hormones or conceive, either naturally or using assisted reproductive technology.  No yoga experience needed. Pre-registration required since space is limited. Register now for this 6 week series.

Testimonial from a recent Wildflower Yoga for Fertility student:

‘Navigating the path to conception took longer for us than expected. I am at the sweet spot between 30-35, where the minimum wait for further medical testing is a year. Tried out all the other “might help” tidbits: gave up on my regular exercise classes, stopped eating sugar. Yet no luck. Perfect recipe for stress, the very thing you should avoid when TTC. I had been searching for what else I could do to be more fertile and came across Nora’s class. This was the first of its kind to help in the fertility journey. I came to the class with a singular goal: know what exercise is “safe” so that if conception is gonna take its sweet time, I don’t have to give up being healthy for that.
