Ananda Day Cavalli
Ananda Day Cavalli began her yoga practice in 2006 with the intention of finding peace throughout life’s challenges. She practiced yoga regularly throughout her pregnancy using yogic breath, meditation, and asanas to prepare for the beautiful birth of her son Kosha. In addition to completing her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2013 at Integral Yoga Institute in New York, she has participated in many bodywork workshops and spiritual retreats. Her style is informed by the attentive meditative nature of Hatha and the heat building, core-strengthening asanas of vinyasa flow. Her classes are a safe and nurturing place for women and their new babies to practice together. In addition to teaching at Blossom she also teaches free Yoga in the park in Redwood City, and is a working artist who teaches at Parsons the New School for Design.
