Class Description

Red   Yellow   Blue
The Introductory Workshop is followed by our Six-Day Series. Build your signing vocabulary with themes like mealtime signs, colors, animals, family, bedtime, and more! Eighteen sessions are split into three different six-day series named after the primary colors: The Red Series, Yellow Series, and Blue Series. No need to take them in order. Just dive in and start learning now. We sing songs, read and sign popular board books, like Brown Bear Brown Bear and Goodnight Moon, and share valuable tips to help your baby learn more than 100+ signs!

Aunts, uncles, nannies, and grandparents are welcome with discounted prices. They love the opportunity to stay in touch with you while having fun learning how to sign with your new baby.

Babies are welcome but not required to attend. You're welcome to turn your own video off and simply watch and listen while nursing and cuddling your little one to sleep.  Don't worry if you miss a session because we spend thirty minutes each day reviewing the vocabulary we learned the previous week. Plus, on-demand recordings of each session are included with your enrollment.
Expectant parents, and babies from birth to 18 months old are welcome to attend these series.

Intro to Baby Sign

Stop guessing what your baby is trying to tell you and start spending more time fulfilling your child's specific needs. Baby Sign Language gives parents the opportunity to communicate with children long before babies can verbalize their wants and needs. Research studies show that signing with babies accelerates language acquisition, reduces frustration and aggressive behavior, and as children mature, results in a greater interest in reading. Out of all the wonderful benefits of baby sign language, the most important benefit of all is that signing will greatly deepen the bond between you and your child.

What You Will Learn:

Happy Baby Signs' Introductory Workshop introduces basic baby signs that are based on American Sign Language (ASL) and is designed for expectant parents and parents with hearing babies who range in age from birth to 18 months old. The workshop is 45 min long during which information on the latest research on the benefits of signing with babies will be discussed. Parents are taught useful tips on how to train their babies to sign. Fun activities and songs will show you how easy it can be to integrate these signs into your every day routine and jump-start your child's verbal skills. This is a great way to see what infant signing is all about without a major commitment. Please join us with or without your baby!
