Florence Thiry is a family doctor in Belgium and a doula in the Bay Area.
As a doula with a medical background, she accompanies women and families during this incredible moment of life that is the perinatal period. Her goal is to nurture and educate families so that they gain the energy, self-confidence and knowledge needed to nurture their baby.
Florence teaches private childbirth preparation classes as well as the baby care class at Blossom Birth. Postpartum, she provides physical and emotional support to new families and supports mothers in their chosen mothering style.
When Florence is not supporting expecting and new families, she works remotely for the Department of Medicine of the University of Liege (Belgium), gives free medical appointments with TeleHelp Ukraine and leads a “Mum and Mum to Be” support group at Stanford.
