Born in Peru, Maziel is the creative force behind Mamma Hummingbird, a company that celebrates the enchanting world of succulents. Her journey is a fusion of nurturing environmentally-friendly succulents and creating meaningful Holistic Succulent workshops.

In addition to her work with Mamma Hummingbird, Maziel holds a bachelor's degree as a midwife and master's degrees in Gender, Sexuality, and Reproductive Health, as well as Public Health. She has over 15 years of experience in research and health promotion programs, with a special focus on vulnerable populations. This academic and professional journey reflects her commitment to holistic well-being.
Maziel lives in San Jose, California, with her husband, daughter, and their playful puppy, Cookie.
