Meet & Greet with Midwives from El Camino Health
This is a bi-monthly meeting with the nurse midwives at El Camino Health. In this meeting we will describe the option and benefits of midwifery care for your pregnancy and postpartum. We will explain how we are integrated into the community, our scope of practice, how we prioritize physiological birth in the safety of the hospital. Patients have the opportunity to meet their potential care provider and ask any questions.

Melina Rapazzini, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife who obtained her BSN and BA in Religion from University of Virginia, and master's degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She encourages shared decision-making with her clients and strives to support them by staying on the forefront of evidence-based research. Melina is passionate about providing trauma-informed, antiracist, and LGBTQ-affirming care. She was awarded the UCSF 2021 Community Impact Award for her commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Currently she serves on the board of PATTCh (Prevention and Treatment of Traumatic Childbirth).
Kavita Noble CNM has cared for families in the South Bay for the past 25 years. She is passionate about bringing family centered, safe and empowering care to birthing people. She prioritizes education and shared decision making and has a gentle style in her approach with families. She has practiced in home, hospital and free standing birth centers throughout the Bay Area and is thrilled to be part of the BAM team at El Camino Los gatos, which is a lovely balance of her previous practices. Kavita provides a full range of reproductive health care and supports wellness at all life stages. She has been involved in midwifery policy and statewide initiatives to improve access to midwifery care. Kavita is a mother of two adult children and grandmother of one, all of whom were supported by midwives.

Danielle Carlson Coff is a nurse-midwife who provides inclusive and evidence-based care. She believes her role is to meet people where they are and equip them with the tools needed to feel their best. Danielle obtained her undergraduate degree in business and worked in healthcare consulting following graduation. During this time, she volunteered as a doula and was amazed by the humanizing, compassionate, and grounding care midwives provide. It was this experience that motivated her to go back to school. After becoming a registered nurse, she worked at a birth center while pursuing her midwifery degree. She values her experience with out-of-hospital births and strives to incorporate a birth center-like environment into the hospital setting. This includes minimizing intervention and maximizing safety and birth experience. Outside her practice, Danielle values spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She loves being near or in water, exercising, exploring, enjoying good food, and snuggling up on the couch to watch TV. She also enjoys a good laugh; jokes are always welcome.
Lin Lee's extensive career as an RN and CNM spans over 40 years, with a rich background that includes practices in the UK, China, and California. Lin has been in California for over 30 years and she has become a prominent figure in the field of Women's Health here in the Bay Area. In 2012, Lin took a significant step in her career by founding Bay Area Maternity alongside her own midwife. Since then, she has dedicated herself to providing a compassionate, safe, and joyful experience for women throughout the journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum care.
