Prenatal Breastfeeding Basics

Breastfeeding is like learning to dance with a new partner - there are steps and rhythms that each person knows, and now these new partners must learn to work together.

In Breastfeeding Basics, participants receive practical information and support to enhance their breastfeeding experience and help them anticipate and overcome common stumbling blocks that new nursing mothers often encounter.

  • Engorgement
  • Storing and heating breast milk
  • Blocked ducts and breast lumps
  • Positions of comfort
  • Going back to work, and more​

Class & Registration Information

Class fee includes expectant person and a birth partner. Classes are offered in person at the OFJCC in Palo Alto.
