 The Fabric of Connection - Rebozo and Somatic Awareness workshop

 This worshop offers 5 contact hours by ICEA for continuing education (applicable for DONA)

This class is designed for birth professionals- Doulas, Midwives, Nurses, Doctors, Lactation professionals and anyone who works with women, babies and their families.

What will you learn:

  • Rebozo techniques for pregnancy, birth and postpartum,
  • Advanced doula hacks, tricks of the trade
  • Mindful ways to be present and centered at the time of birth,
  • Counseling and advocacy techniques to create more connection between birthing parents, partners and hospital staff,
  • Body awareness and self care techniques, and tips
  • Listening and witnessing skills,
  • Somatic awareness for mama and baby care

About the instructor Ilka Fanni

Picture
Ilka is a DONA trained Doula, Independent Placenta Medicine Specialist, Childbirth Educator, Rebozo Instructor and Certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator. She is also a certified massage therapist, trained somatic movement therapist, developmental movement therapist, certified in radical counseling and have been a dancer, dance teacher for the past 20 years. She brings all this knowledge of the body and emotional process to support mothers and their families on their journey through pregnancy, the birth process and parenting.
In her Embodied Birth and Fabric of Connection classes, Ilka integrates and synthesizes all the knowledge she has acquired in the last 20+ years about how to be in the body, embody the mind, and trust the inner process.
Her classes are fun and hands on, full of practical knowledge so you can start using your new skills confidently!
