Polar Bear Swim Classes

These weekly 30-minute swim lessons are a great opportunity for parents to bond with their little ones in a welcoming environment, and in the comfort of the warm water indoor pool (87 degrees). Instructors lead the class with songs and focus on safety skills such as floating, safe exits, and bubbles. Polar Bear is for children ages 6 months to 3 years.

Swim Technique and Training

Our Swim Technique and Training class is perfect for adults who already know how to swim and want to improve their skills. Whether you’re aiming to swim faster, swim farther, or enhance your form, this class is designed specifically for you! Each 45-minute session focuses on fine-tuning freestyle technique, learning backstroke and breaststroke fundamentals, and building endurance and confidence to feel more comfortable in the water.

Health Benefits of Swimming

Swimming is not only a fantastic way to improve your skills but also offers numerous health benefits:

  • Full-Body Workout: Engage almost all muscle groups, enhancing strength and flexibility.

  • Cardiovascular Health: Improve heart health, increase lung capacity, and boost overall endurance.

  • Low-Impact Exercise: The buoyancy of water reduces strain on joints, making it suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

  • Stress Relief: The rhythmic movements of swimming can reduce stress and anxiety, providing a calming effect.

  • Improved Coordination: The various strokes promote better coordination and balance, benefiting overall physical performance.
