at OFJCC, Palo Alto in Jeff Center for Families (Room G106)

Meet the Doula Night -  is an in-person Q&A session where expecting families can meet several doulas! It is geared towards families who:

1) Want to learn more about what doulas do

2) Are considering finding a doula but don’t know where to start,

Possible questions/topics to be addressed:

  • The role of a birth and/or postpartum doula

  • What services & support a doula typically offers

  • Benefits of working with a doula

  • What the hiring process is like

  • What questions to ask when interviewing a doula

How it Works for Doulas

Doula registration cost: $0
(This is a perk included with provider membership. Must be a
Provider Member to participate.)

Doula capacity: 6 doulas total

We’ll try to keep a close ratio of birth doulas and postpartum doulas (3:3 or 4:2)

Sign Ups:

  • Signups are first come, first serve. Spots are limited, so thanks for your patience and understanding!

  • We will also try to rotate so that doulas who don’t get in for the current session may have a chance for the next ones.

  • Fill out this Google Form

    • If you get a spot, you will get an email confirmation

    • If we cannot approve your spot, you will be put on a waitlist and we’ll do our best to give you priority for future dates

  • *Commitment: If you sign up, please honor your commitment to be there! We know emergencies can happen, and that doulas are often on-call. If possible, please arrange backup plans to have another Blossom Provider Doula sub in for you. Minimizing last minute cancellations greatly alleviates Blossom staff.

What to Bring:

  • Business cards/postcards/flyers/etc. to hand out to families

For any questions, please contact loly@blossombirthandfamily.org

*Businesses and providers operate independent of Blossom Birth & Family.
