In-Person 3 Week Series
7.5 hours of live in-person class sessions
3 hours of additional video content

Are you looking for an easy, accessible and yet comprehensive Hypnosis for birth series?

Have you enjoyed the relaxation of prenatal yoga during your pregnancy journey?

Do you have experience with using mediation, mindfulness or hypnosis?

Inspired Birth is offering a new three-session series designed to focus on Hypnosis techniques for a more comfortable birth experience.  Taught by experienced Birthworker, Certified Hypnotherapist, HypnoBirthing (Mongan Method) and Childbirth Education Instructor, Tracie Logan-Lynch.

Learn the basics of utilizing hypnosis for birth, work with your partner to create a calm peaceful birth experience, learn how to achieve and practice deep relaxation in preparation for birth, and learn how to use hypnosis techniques and visualizations to cope with and remain calm in labor.

Our series will primarily focus on natural birth coping plans, partner connections, and comfort measures to use when strategizing your ideal birth. We will explore fears and anxieties surrounding the birth experience and how to create a working labor plan that best supports both you and your partner. These techniques can enhance your birth experience even with the support of a Doula.

This method was traditionally a “Natural Birth” method of childbirth preparation; however, we know today that many families need the helpful processing, planning and practice for birth that hypnosis can offer. Through an easy program of relaxation, self-hypnosis and education, families learn to release emotions tied to fear-based stories and misinformation.

This class will begin by working on the “what to expects” of childbirth, normalizing the process for both partners as well as working on creating a plan for your ideal birth. We will delve into all normal aspects of a comprehensive childbirth education class; breathing, stages of labor, birth plans, natural childbirth vs pain relief options, medical interventions, coping techniques, and hands on partner support comfort measures. We will also work on a solid foundation of relaxation and breaking the fear-tension-pain cycle that can affect your birth in a negative way. We will spend time working on partner connection exercises to ease your birthing day communication even if you approach information in different ways.

This class is structured as an in-person series and will meet once per week for three weeks. Each week an additional content video will be sent out for you to review prior to the next class. Each week will build on the next to offer a fully comprehensive childbirth preparation series.
